What to see in Moscow in 4 days: Second part (Day 3 and 4)

DAY 3 (Saturday): after yesterday’s long walk, I decided for a more relaxing day. In the morning I visited the exhibition dedicated to the war artist Vasily Vereshchagin in the New Gallery Tretyakov, a modern art museum located in Gorky Park. Moscow has so much to offer in terms of culture and museums, but I opted for this exhibition because I was attracted by the ethnographic realism of Vereshchagin’s works related to his trips to countries I visited such as Kazakhstan, Kirgizistan, Israel and others such as India and Tibet which are on my bucket list.

In the early afternoon I took the metro to Teatralnaya station and I walked from there to the Red Square, the iconic Unesco heritage that contains within it:
